The room featured recently refurbished elements and presented a high standard of finish. Andrea extended a fantastic welcome upon my arrival. Breakfast included a wide array of choices and everything was excellent. I especially appreciated the central location, a short walk to many points of interest.
I found that I had to wait a short time to check in, as the reception desk was busy, though staff were helpful.

I appreciated the walk in shower in the bathroom. It was superb. the breakfast offered many choices and the lemon and elderflower juice was a highlight for me.
The pillows were not ideal. There was only one and it felt quite firm.

the hotel lacks on-site parking. the walk to parking took about five minutes. carrying suitcases in the rain would not be fun. there was only one pillow, and it was rock solid
